Music has always been a huge part of my life, way before I ever had my first set of turntables. As a kid growing up in Miami, my dad always had music from the 60s and 70s on the radio. I always gravitated toward the "catchy" melodic tunes such as The Carpenters, The Mamas and Papas, Fleetwood Mac, ELO, and Elton John to name a few. This type of music and of course, disco, have been strong influences on my music selection. I am always a sucker for the gut wrenching, emotional vocals over a beat!
